Original Killer Baked Beans

1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. bacon
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup catsup
1/4 cup mustard
1 14 oz can Rotel tomatoes, juice included
1 large (1 lb. 13 oz) can pork & beans, drained, juice reserved
1 16 oz can pinto beans, drained
1 16 oz can baby lima beans, drained
1 16 oz can large butter beans, drained
1 16 oz can great northern beans, drained

Cook bacon until crisp, drain on paper towel, reserving 2 tablespoons grease.
Cook onion in bacon grease until soft.
Cook ground beef until red is gone...drain.
Mix all together except crumbled bacon, taste and adjust seasoning. Add enough liquid from pork and beans to make mixture juicy but not too soupy. Put mixture in large baking dish or metal roasting pan.
Bake, uncovered, at 350 until hot and bubbling...about 40 to 60 minutes, OR put on side of smoker or grill and let simmer slowly.

Variations: Add sliced smoked sausage, smokey links, or peppers (sweet or hot).
