I have one similiar to that one, it was a gift. I dont use it much at all because it doesnt "crisp" the tortillas, I prefer to do mine in a pan with some buttah :lol:

I agree with Kathe......I like doing my in a skillet or on the grill....it would be one less thing for me to drag out. lol
If you think you would use it though......go for it!

Why couldn't you do quesadillas in your sandwich maker??

Not sure they'd come out right Barb, because of the way it's shaped inside.
By the way, I only used this damned thing 3 times, the last time I totally left a cheese and onion sandwich in too long and the melted cheese came oozing out every crevice!
gahh!:bonk::lol:

Gotcha! I have the GF and it's flat on the inside. I never use that either. lol Fortunately it was free.

I'd say get something that does grilled cheese, paninis, quesadillas, everything! That way you're more likely to use it.

I was looking through a WS catalog yesterday that advertised its panini sandwich maker as being good for quesadillos. I think one appliance that multitasks would be a good thing, too. Of course, that red one does look kinda cool.

Thanks guys. Perhaps this will remain on my maybe list lol
In the meantime, I'll look for something that as you say Fred and Rob.. multitasks.
