The Anagram Game

Since we are adding and playing new games, I figured I'd add one that I've always loved. I call it the Anagram Game.

An anagram is when you take the letters of a word or phrase and make a new word or phrase. For example:

A decimal point = I'm a dot in place

Notice every letter was used to make a new phrase, and interestingly enough, the new phrase actually described the first one. Typically, Anagrams use every letter to make the new word, but for this game, all you need do is make any word at all (no need to use all the letters.

Once you make your word, suggest a new word for the next poster. For example:

basic - cabs

scrabble

So the original word was basic, and I made the word cabs from that. I then offered scrabble for the next poster. The next poster would do something like:

scrabble - lace

dissident

So from scrabble, they made lace and then offered dissident (you could make dent, sit, is, tend, etc from that word).

The only rules are:

1. The word you offer has to be four letters or longer.

2. You should know at least one word that can be made from the word you offer.

3. The word you make has to be at least 2 letters long such as "at", "to", "as", etc. But no single letters like "I" , "a", etc.

Ok, if you're interested, let's play! I'll offer:
