Woo hoo. The opening ceremony coverage just started on NBC. Fran and I are going to watch all of it tonight.

Pasta, home made sauce, and meatballs served up on our living room pop up coffee table.

The opening ceremonies sure are impressive and entertaining, aren't they? Great Britain is doing a magnificent job.

Now I want to see the movie Chariots of Fire again!

Anyone ever been to the Olympics? I went to Lake Placid in 1980, just got into town as the US beat the Russians in hockey, the Miracle on Ice. It was a night and a weekend I will never, ever forget!

I was never more proud to be an American!

USA USA USA USA!!!

That's the 65VT50, Doc. Calibrates like a dream. There is a new firmware about to be released but I don't know if your ST model will be included or not.
 
The opening ceremonies were BEAUTIFUL! London is hosting a wonderful games so far! I finished watching Kessy and Ross win their match while ago and now we're watching Rogers and Dalhausser......go team USA!!!!!!!
 
PeppA is watching the games. Our daughter, Ellie, is watching as well, and every now and then breaks out chanting, "USA! USA! USA!"
 
I feel like there is nothing to watch now, I will get caught up on DVR stuff I guess.

Looking forward to the 1inter Olympics in 2014.
