Steamed Clam Quick Lunch

I like clams every way except raw. I often steam up a dozen or so in their own juice for lunch because it's fast and easy.

I use induction heat because it's easier to control than any other type.

It only takes a few minutes for the shells open up and they're ready for consumption. The clams produce more liquid than you can imagine so I freeze it for later use as stock.

Fresh clams and a glass of fresh squeezed grapefruit juice - delicious and healthy. :)
