Steak and Guinness Stew

In a few days I’ll be shopping for this.

My first real recipe came from a Scotsman called The Soup Monger. He emigrated from Scotland to Texas, if I recall correctly. I lost his recipe but mostly do it from memory.

Nancy wanted to make her mother’s biscuit recipe instead of using Pillsbury Grands. They were on the tough side but still good. I only had one helping of stew and two biscuits and was stuffed. The gravy could have been thicker but was fine for me.
