Space Day

I participated in my first space day. I went to assembly with the kids and we had an astronaut speak to us about all the stuff they go through and some of the things they put up with going through the program. It was one of the most motivational pitches I have ever seen. Great program. I will do it again next year. I may post some pictures later. Now I wait for happy hour. CHEERS!!!

I don't really know what the U.S. is doing re: outer space. Did they talk about plans for the future?

They will be using the Soviet orbiter from here on out, until the privatized market makes getting to space more economic.

I think we will hitch rides with Russia until lockheed or Boeing come up with something new.i hope its soon since 3 people have to share the space of about the frontseat of a small car for 2 and a half days till they get to the space station.

I suppose they don't have an outdoor toilet....

What about the X-plane or whatever its called? They are supposed to be ready for launch on monday I think.
