I just watched Shawshank Redemption again after seeing it decades ago. Saw a lot more in it this time - excellent movie!

There is a scene where the cruel, megalomaniac warden gets furious with Andy over nothing. Very much reminded me of the time my boss, an autocratic and insecure CEO, threw me (Director of HR) out of her office for disagreeing with her. Andy got 2 months in the hole; I got fired.

We watched Nuremberg tonight. It draws one in. And, at the same time, incredibly unsettling. Russell Crowe, Rami Malek & Lee Woodall give powerful performances. Well worth the time watching it.

I watched Nuremberg after your and Ginny's recommendations. Excellent! Great acting by the principles, but a waste of John Slatterly. Can't imagine why he was cast in that role (military prison warden).

I watched war machine part last night and finished it today. It would get 3 out of 5 stars from me. Good but very predictable. Very similar plot to a couple others I saw years ago.

We watched Pretty Lethal with Uma Thurman. Personally, I loved it. It's quirky, darkly humorous, and unusual. Bada$$ ballerinas and Uma! What more could you want?

We watched Babette’s Feast which was an Academy Award winner, Denmark’s only award, and is in Danish and French with subtitles. It’s a wonderful movie and highly recommend it.

Last time I watched the entire thing was with Grandpa Guy and I cannot even remember the year, I do remember staying up late sitting beside him in that big leather recliner.
He told me I was a lot like Scout.
