This is Roberta.
She was the nurse scheduler where I work.
Bright, beautiful, vibrant, caring, giving and one of the funniest people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing.
She had a prior battle with breast cancer years ago, until it decided to rear it's ugly head once again last Spring.
Since then we had formed Team Roberta, then had tshirts made that say Brave and Fight Like A Girl.
Things were fine it seemed.
She was going through chemo, then decided what the heck, I'm getting rid of this once and for all, so began radiation therapy.
Late yesterday afternoon, she told her hubby to call work for her, she needed rest.
She passed in her sleep last evening.
Our Facebook page is exploding with condolences, tears, memories and yes laughter.
She will be forever missed.
