1lb ground sausage, hot or mild
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2tsp black pepper
2tsp salt
2C water
3 large potatoes, peeled & diced
1tsp basil
1 can creamed corn
1 can whole kernal corn
1 (12oz) can evaporated milk
In a large pot brown sausage & drain all but 2 Tbsp drippings. Saute onion in 2 Tbsp sausage drippings with the cooked sausage. Add pepper, salt, basil, water, & diced potatoes. Cover & cook until potatoes are done. Stir in corn & milk, heat to almost boiling.
