I made Super Birds for lunch and I'm making a version of Kung Pao Chicken for dinner. Kind of a kitchen sink thing, meaning I put a larger variety of veggies in the pot than called for in the recipe. I'll make a pot of Jasmine Rice too.

We ate at home for a change. Shrimp tacos, with lettuce, cilantro, avocado, homemade Chipotle sauce, fresh lime.

We celebrate the single digit of those double digit birthdays! I hope you got coloring books, jump ropes, and maybe a dart gun.

I made a coddle with Irish sausage and served it with Irish soda bread earlier in the week. Today, we had smoked pork ribs with potato salad and steamed asparagus.

I got new divided cafeteria trays. Love them.

The "steak tips" were flat strips of overdone meat. Not too chewy, but not at all juicy.

Steak and onions sub with fried bell peppers. Tina made a banana cake for dessert.
