Ranger Gaurds ???

We seem to be getting a sudden mass intake of new members with the name Ranger Gaurds from over the place ... kinda makes you wonder how legite they really are ??

Seems as though this mob are just rent a cops trying to recruit from all appearances and have little or no interest in cooking what so ever.

That's when you simply use the report button.
There is no report button on the "whose on line" page that I could see. Aside from that, I would have thought the mods would have been appreciative of being informed of a potential influx of scammers.

From now on, I'll mind my own business and not try to help the forums.

As much time as you spend on here viewing who is online, other than posting things that are useful - I'd think you could find the report button.

The forum already has plenty of help and it's been that way for years.

So plese show me where the report button is here - where I saw the extended list of these ranger people:

no report button.jpg

Add to that - I would have thought ANY forum would have been appreciative of additional help that would inprove that forum.

Perhaps I should just take the advbice of one curt member and just google everything thereby remnoving any chance of receiving abrasive reposnses as well as removing the need to use a damn forum.

Must be hidden - there is NO Report button on the current visitors page, anywhere and that is where I saw the vast list of theese ranger idiots and private investigators and so forth. You cant press a report button when one doesnt exist!

I'm done with this. A bunch of unappreciative individuals who critize people (memnbers) for helping especially when it sems as though the members that you claim are here helping arent doing such agreat job.

You dont report the visitor, you report the posts.

The report button is on each individual post. If someone spams a bunch of posts, you don't have to report every one. Just one or two will suffice. Lee and Doc will remove the culprit and all of the spam in one swoop.

If you want to be helpful, use the tools that are provided - the blue "Report" link at the bottom of the post.

You dont report the visitor, you report the posts.
Then perhaps that needs to change. I'd suggest that when you get 10 or 12 "new members" all from the same supposed group joining up and doing nothing but advertising what they do and that has nothing to do with cooking or these forums then they need to be reported and stopped from the outset.

But hey, not my forum so you can do what you want - I'm done with cooking forums and cooking forum attitudes.
