Question about Ziploc vacuum system

I just got one of these and looks pretty good. It was given to me as a gift but I've never used it until I looked at it today. It is about 18" wide so it can seal a pretty big bag. Any input would be helpful.

I didn't know ziploc had a vacuum machine!
Dunno how good it is, but if it is anything like a
Food Saver, you should love it!
I just opened a pound of ground lamb I vacuum
sealed 1 year and 1 week ago, then froze, and it
was just like I had frozen it a couple weeks ago.
You can also use them to seal non-food items too!

Yes they work great and in the reason I dug it out was I bought some lead bullet to use for reloading and they came sealed in a Ziploc bag. The bag is one of the heaviest I've seen and my wife reminded me I got one about a year ago as a Christmas gift. I found it in my pantry and sure enough it was the Ziploc. I also have a roll of form your own bags.

Oh and not sure if they all bags are capable of this but these bags can also be put in boiling water to heat sealed foods.

I am very pleased with it. I can think of a lot of uses for the Vacuum sealer.
