Pretzel bread

My friends and I ordered this appetizer at a restaurant this past week and we all loved it!

I've tried making soft pretzels a couple of times, with disappointing results.

This looks easier to make, but I don't have a recipe.

Nancy made these pretzel buns tonight for our Oktoberfest BBQ Saturday.

Tomorrow I pick up 20 brats from Stewart’s Meats and we bought 12 white
brats at commissary.

She made red herring today and will make beer cheese Sat. I’ll post the complete
menu tomorrow night.

There is no salt on the pretzel buns as they are to be eaten as a dinner roll.

Nancy asked me to stop by the German bakery and deli to get a few items; German mayonnaise and a jar of semi sweet dill pickles for the red herring. They had the pickles but no mayonnaise. I treated myself to a pretzel with salt.
