Pineapple Rum Cocktail

I cored an overripe pineapple with one of those coring gadgets. It mangled a lot of the flesh, but yielded a good amount of juice.

I Googled cocktails (heaven forbid I drink it straight) and found this recipe.

I didn't have the Maraschino liquor or orange bitters (really, who DOES?), but it was pretty good anyway with my dark rum.

Will try a different one tomorrow. Any suggestions?

Pineapple juice and coconut rum - a poor man's pina colada.
Sink some grenadine in the glass like you would for a tequilla sunrise. It makes a pretty (but very sweet) drink.
