I'd've said OH MY GOODNESS THAT LOOKS SO GOOD sooner, but had to let the keyboard dry out first.... I should learn to drool elsewhere.

Bump for Lee.
We seem to have lost the pictures. I’ll repost them when I go on my laptop.

Secure with twine every inch (I did butcher’s knots/1/2 hitch) to end of the roll

After tying every inch to the end of roll flip roll over and work twine through cross strings the whole length from end to end and secure with a knot (to hold the roll tight and keep filling in)

Well, I'll be .....!!

Just for the heck of it, I perused the beef section of the supermarket and there it was! Just one package labeled Top Round for Braciole! LOL! Five nice, thin slices.

I snapped it up, Foodsavered it, and put it in the freezer for my next venture. Will be using your recipe, Peep!

It looks as if you also put in some Italian sausages in your braising sauce, right? Love that idea, too!

Glad you found the steaks.
I brown my meatballs, sausage and braciole. Then I make my tomato sauce and put the braciole in to simmer till tender. Once the braciole is tender I add the meatballs and sausage to the pot to warm up while the pasta is cooking.
