1 yellow cake mix
1 egg
1/2 cup melted butter (REAL BUTTER)
1 1/2 cup light corn syrup ( I've tried using the dark...not as good!)
3 more eggs
1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar
2 tsps vanilla
1 1/2 cup chopped up pecans
mix the cak mix with 1 of the eggs and the melted butter.
Remove 2/3 cup fo the batter and set aside.
Spread the rest into a greased and sugared pan 9x13. bake for 15 minutes 350.
Mix the 2/3 cup of batter with the corn syrup and three eggs, brown sugar and the nuts.
Then pour on top of the cooked cake.
Bake for about 45 -55 minutes at 325. Serve with vanilla ice cream!
