Pan Roasted Brussels Sprouts

I found this method on a facebook blog - so many variations from using oven, air fryer, and foil pack over the coals. I adapted it to my grill wit my favorite cast iron sauté skillet. I drizzled a bit of olive oil in the pan, a generous grinding of black pepper, and a sprinkling of French Grey Sea Salt. I fried the sprouts over the fire then put aside, put the hood on, and let them roast in the heat and smoke. I used alder for smoke. They were delicious.

I had an aunt that said "brussels sprouts taste like dirty feet smell", LOL!

I love them!
