Check out this deal on Laguiole Corkscrews:
Horn Scales for $79.50: http://korin.com/Laguiole-Wine-Opener-Solid-Horn
Deer Wood Scales for $65.80: http://korin.com/Laguiole-Wine-Opener-Deer-Wood
Laguiole is NOT a brand name, it's a region in France. There are several manufacturers in the Laguiole region that make high-quality knives and corkscrews in the distinctive Laguiole style.
This particular brand is Laguiole en Aubrac, which I imported and sold on Ebay for a few years until they simply got to be too expensive, largely because of the weak dollar. I have a large collection of corkscrews, and in my judgment those from Laguiole en Aubrac are simply the best available -- they work better than most other brands, and they're far sturdier than most.
And believe me, these prices are less than I paid wholesale. Google "Laguiole en Aubrac" and you'll see that they usually command around $170 and up, depending on the material used for the scales.
BTW, Korin has a few other styles are equally astonishing prices -- search their site for "Laguiole."
