Since much cooking and food prep takes place outside of the kitchen, what would "youse gize" think of including some of the folding and fixed blade "outdoor knives" that we use in camp and on the trail in the discussions here?
About 99 percent of the use that my Bob Dozier "General Camp and Hunting" knife gets is in camp food prep, rather than throat cutting and evisceration!

I seldom have a "true" kitchen knife in the field, but more than one Lasagna, Burrito, and "Trout ala Sauce Piquante" has been prepared with my Spyderco Military folder which is always with me!
