"One of " Bams BBQ Sauce

this is one of many i make... right now the missus has most of my recipes stored somewhere and she is out of the country..lol

1/4 cup Cider Vinegar
1 Tbsp. Prepared Yellow Mustard
1/4 tsp. Coarse Black Pepper
2 tsp. Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning (or Zatarain's)
1/2 to 3/4 tsp. Lea & Perrin's Worcestershire Sauce
1 -2 cups Apple Juice divided
1 cup Heinz Ketchup (or Hunt's)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup bbq sauce (yes prepared bbq sauce..lol)
2 tbsp rub

Stir vinegar into mustard to thin it and dissolve any lumps.

Then stir in the Lea & Perrins, Creole Seasoning, and Coarse Black Pepper.

Stir in 1 1/2 cups Apple Juice, then add the Ketchup and mix thoroughly.

Rinse Ketchup from measuring cup with the remaining 1/2 cup Apple Juice and
add this to the sauce.

Stir again to mix thoroughly then pour into serving bottle and allow to stand for
a couple days for flavor to fully develop.

This sauce has a sweeter after it has stood for 2 or 3 days than it does when
first mixed.

If additional sweetness is desired, sweeten to taste with Light Brown Sugar.

Additions:
i like Sweet Baby Rays sauce of all sauces...if you want to make it similar to that, add some pineapple juice.

this recipe may need a little more smoke in it if you are using it for a table sauce so just add a yuck i hate to say it..liquid smoke..lol

Here is the hottest sauce I've ever tasted and be a bunch as I kind of collect them. This one I keep for those that say there is nothing too hot for them. I can be evil that way. :smile:

i gotta try that..and yes there is too hot but i still like the burn

my signature shows the next thing on the menu..lol
 
I've meet no one that can put a dab on their finger and touch their tung with this stuff. It will blister your finger and your tung. I've actually had people go to their knees from this stuff and break into a heavy sweet. I use it by the drop to quarts of chili.
