On the Road Again

Well, we’re moving again. I have spent my whole life in the Pacific NW state of Washington so this move is exciting yet stressful for me as we are going to the Southwest, in Arizona. Buzz spent his teen years there, his parents are buried there, his siblings are there. The weather is definitely MUCH more sunnier than here!

Earlier this week, we bought our new home. We’ve had our current home up for sale since the end of March and last Friday while we were at the vet having one of our dogs put down, we had a house showing. Talk about stress. We come back home are mourning the loss of our beloved boy after 12 years and our Realtor calls to say we have an offer.
The following morning we are signing papers. These people want our home and the moon along with it. We counter offer and wait…..and wait. The Realtor comes to the door. “I’ve got bad news” he says. I let him in. “They backed out” he says. “Why?!” I say, “we gave them what they wanted!” (Within reason, of course) He tells us these people have a house in Canada and another in Arizona (of course they do) and said it was much more than they wanted to spend. Hmmmm. I about fell over. We priced our house lower than the average for our area. Even lowered it $20,000 to motivate buyers compared to what’s available out there. 🙄
So, we will leave in a few weeks and keep this on the market. Ugh 😑

Oh my gosh, RM! You are in the middle of some of the most stress-inducing events in a person's life! I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved dog. It's SO hard!

You will sell your house, but of course will worry until you do. Keep us posted on the new home. What town will you be living in?

Sending you positive and healing energies, and thoughts of peace.
