officially terrified

there's a storm, i mean as in thunder & that. yes, i'm not letting people in though, i know. self-preservation & that. frankly, i'm now afraid of being straightforward, isn't worth the grief or doubts that may ensue.
 
Looks like it won't last that long Aubrey, if you're talking about the thunderstorms going over you.
Intellicast is showing possible hail for you as being the worst out of it.
Just hang on and ride it out.. I'm petrified of them too.

They're those vicious little fast moving pop up storms hun.
Always comes with the first really warm/humid spell .. grrrrrrr lol
 
i can't wait for this to blow over. i am an 'ol baby when the storms begin. i have this adoration for pittsburgh, i despise the inconsistant weather, though:umbrella: & w/ unabashed shamelessness, too

Aubrey, I have a friend Cathy, who makes fun of me over my fear of severe storms.. because in my mind, they always mean possible tornado (I have been through 4 tornadoes).
This is the same woman who was scared to death to even be in the same room with my son's tarantula Spook and his boa, Eden.

as a kiddo, for this unknown & inexplicable thing far beyond reason, i was petrified of tornadoes. i mean to the point of nearly getting sick @ the mention of them.
 
That was some nasty looking radar! I hope you made it through the night okay, luvs, and today is fair weather. I have family in Pittsburgh and I hope they got through it okay too.
 
Do y'all have "fraidy-holes" over in that part of the sticks? a.k.a. "storm shelters", "storm cellars", etc.?

If you truly want to know what it's like living on the edge of terror from storms, move down here and ride out a Spring Storm Season without a storm shelter, like I have to do.
 
i think there's places to gather, not where i reside @ this point, though

we sure ain't 'stix' folks....... lol, we're main pittsburghers

ahhhhhhhhhh. my 'lil box is in a strong brick building w/ several people nearby, so i don't fret toooooo much. ;) & by the way, i went into the kitch earlier & my saltine box was empty
this was due to you, huh, sass. you tucked away my dagnabbin saltines & bolted, huh, lol!~ 'kay, maybe not, maybe it was me that ingesteted those saltines, huh?.......
