Nikita's Vodka
1 Fifth of Russian vodka
2 tbsp. whole peppercorns
2 tbsp. sugar
Combine 1/2 cup vodka, peppercorns and sugar in small saucepan and bring to boil, stirring until sugar dissolves. Cool. Transfer mixture to clean bottle. Add remaining vodka. Seal. Shake to blend. Let stand 4 days to mellow. Strain. Return to bottle, and store in the freezer overnight.
Serve in chilled glasses, as an aperitif.
Also very good in a Bloody Mary.
