New Orleans Style "BBQ" Shrimp

It ain't what most of us think of as BBQ, but it's to die for!
(Maybe quite literally -- can you say "coronary"?)

I've got Prudhomme's recipe for BBQ'ed shrimp, and it's amazing! I may have to go get some head-on shrimp and give it a go.

Good luck with the heads-on shrimp. Our markets have an abundance of shrimp but don't always have these, the type the purists insist on. I only insist on shells on. Those frozen naked creatures are tasteless.
