NCT too slow!!

What is going on with the site? It is taking too long to load, post and move around. Only NCT, no other sites are doing this.
 
It's been fading in and out this evening, but I was attributing it to the shitty Time Warner service.
 
Heck I was just thinking that! Shit is taking for-EVER to load!!!!

Hey, anyone also not have that thing on the bottom that is supposed to show all the new posts loading? :huh:
 
Click on where it says "Top 5 Stats" and then click on "View More". It's a nice little feature. Once you've done that you can also click on where it says "Newest Members" and you can find out all kinds of interesting information like Top Posters, Top Reputations, Top Thread Starters, Top Referrers...
 
Hmmm this thread took about 1 minute to open.
I thought the pc was puking.
Normally it takes a few seconds.
 
Earlier, it loaded slower than molasses, now, it's about normal speed. I wonder if it has something to do with the new server Doc's hooking us up to.

Does that mean slower than normal?
This morning all is fine for me. I was not on last night when yall were saying things slowed down. I have seen that at times and attributed it to my connection.

We are NOT on a new server. That server is still being built, then it will need tested. That will happen in a few weeks. 1st we'll work out any kinks with this last change. There should be no noticible difference in load times.

Just today an update came out for the top 5 stats at the bottom of the index page. I knew they were not loading correctly and turned them off. Someone said they missed them because they had a way to make them load and then used them instead of the new posts button to see all new posts. So I turned them back on knowing they were not working as designed.
The update today should have the forever loading issue fixed.
Have patience but please keep me posted if things appear slow / slower than normal.
