its my breakfast thing. natto over a bowl of hot rice. very delicious and apparently it is a superfood so it is good for me. probiotics, minerals, vitamins, etc. all the good stuff. and the serving size it tiny, so I only eat a tiny bit of rice.

I can buy it frozen at a Japanese grocery store. tastes like mild soy sauce to me. with the slightly hint of cheesy funk. the biggest thing is that it is very sticky and stringy. like trying to eat a spider web with chopsticks. hahah

Another new food that you are exposing me and others to, Hobie!

Here's some of what Wiki says: "Nattō is often considered an acquired taste because of its powerful smell, strong flavor, and sticky, slimy texture. ... A 2009 survey revealed that 70% of the 3,827 respondents found the taste pleasant, and others who may not find the taste pleasant still eat the food out of habit.

Fermented soybeans.
