I think they're used in food service?
I thought it might come in handy for if I have guests for snackie things, or maybe a sandwich platter for my dinner?

I see them used on "Chopped", usually in the Appy round ...

The big round ones.
The bottom of my oblong rectangular one says it's a melamine "charger plate".
Also says not for microwave use.
As if it would fit in there 🤣

Ok here's what I got to show you.
The first one is like the melamine one I bought.
The second round ones are also charger plates.
I think they might be used under actual dinner plates to eat off of, because they're not made of China or ceramic. Basically just there for looks?

It is very pretty! Pictures don’t capture the actual color. I’ve enjoyed it, but time to let it go….
Those are pretty, but a little too fancy for me.
Maybe you could use them just to display, or try selling them on eBay?
