8 oz cooked macaroni (or small pasta of your choice)
2 T butter
1 medium onion-sliced
1 T finely chopped green pepper
1 t A1 steak sauce
1 1/3 c crushed or stewed tomatoes
salt and pepper
1/2 c shredded sharp cheddar
Preheat oven to 400.
Place cooked macaroni in a buttered casserole.
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, adding onion,green pepper and steak sauce.
Simmer, uncovered for 5 minutes.
Add tomatoes to skillet, salt and pepper to taste, and stir well to heat through.
Pour hot mixture over macaroni, mix lightly.
Sprinkle cheese on top and bake 20 minutes.
