Let's talk about our pets.

Tell me when you get tired of the Charlotte clips.
Here she is thinking 5pm was bed time. Lol
Whenever Jeff goes somewhere, she hops up on the cat tree and sits there until he comes back, looking out the window.

Today is my boy, Blue's, 16th birthday. He's on special food for kidney disease and is on high blood pressure medication, but he's enjoying a wonderful life with me!

Woke up the other day to discover one of our outside cats had had 5 kittens on our porch, in a large cardboard box that is one of their houses... We have another two cats that are also pregnant ... anyone want some really REALLY cute kitties ?? :)

You are going to be overrun with cats!

We currently take care of about 15 outdoor/feral cats, feed them and give them somewhere safe to sleep. They tend to come and go throughout the year with the exception of 5 of them who have become domesticated so another 5 little ones is just par for the course :)

I should have added that two of our other cats are also pregnant, including our very first girl who we took pity on a few years or so ago. So, we are expecting another 4 to 6 kittens any day now :)

Some of our other wild life friends are three possums who are very friendly and make us walk over them if they are eating. We have two skunks who are also friendly (thankfully). While they don't live on the porch, they do make themselves at home of an evening. It's funny seeing a possum, a skunk and a couple of the cats all eating from the same plate together :) And finally, our resident Racoon who also doesn't give a damn if we are on the porch or not - he/she carrioes on regardless :)
