I am so pleased with the way this turned out.
I left out the mozzarella because I felt like it wasn't needed.
I used 4 large chicken thighs (skin left on).
A jar of Bertolli alfredo sauce, 6 slices of chopped bacon, and mushrooms.
The cheesy, bacony gravy it makes is lovely.
Definitely a keeper.
I've got 3 containers of leftovers.
I'll have them tomorrow and Monday.
One went in the freezer.
Delish!

You left out the mozarella??? What willpower!

I've never tried making or buying alfredo sauce. Bertolli is good, I take it.

It was already very rich tasting as is.
I think Bertolli makes an excellent alfredo sauce, only next to Giovanni Rana.
I've tried Prego .. no.
Ragu.. a big no lol
Newman's is just ok.
When I make my tortellini alfredo I normally use Rana.
