I found his show on PBS and bought his cookbook, Kevin Belton's Cookin' Louisiana. Awesome recipes! My family loves them and so do I!

Sorry, but I've seen him do some things that are just down right dangerous on his shows, like carrying a makeshift bain marie full of very hot water to the oven instead of putting the pan in the oven and then filling it with the hot water. Plus, he routinely talks about not overcooking seafood, yet walks away from the pan and lets the seafood continue cooking much, much longer than it should. Practice what you preach...

Yes, we watch his shows, but that is because my DH seems to not be able to NOT have the TV on if he is home and awake.

I agree with you and appreciate your observations as I critique and talk to the TV chefs all the time lol. I just like some of the recipes and cook them using my own experience
