June 8 2012 Supper

Maybe leftovers from yesterday, unless I have it for lunch.

I'd really like a steak and a baked potato today!
 
The kitchen is still semi-closed so it will be something simple again....maybe breakfast.
 
oh, geez. the fridge is packed w/ perishable proscuitto, a cheese i'm to critique for the 1 cheese guy- (they got thier 1st stock of that kind in that morning; i was the 1st to buy it),- got those individual cream cheese pkts..... yogurts, chix, seafood, veggies. shall paw thru it & shove that that i can into the freezer later on tonite.:fridge:anyone hungry~ i'll cook!
 
The oven is pre-heating...2 pizza pies are ready to go in in about 15 minutes.

Good thing it was only 76º here today...or...pizza would NOT be on the cooking list.

fingers are crossed... used a new brand of tomatoes in the sauce.
 
We used our new slow cooker today!

It was a surprise that it did come out very good this time.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again....
There is no exact same pizza batch of dough or sauce and method that makes pizza taste identically the same.

The proof I've also found of that statement...is if we ordered a cheese pie from pronto pizza one night...and then another night within 2 day's order another cheese pie...it will taste absolutely different in one way or another.

This time..The crust and baking event was perfect; because I preheated the oven around 45 minutes.
