Even looking at the photos, it is inconceivable to image what they are going through.

This has been a huge part of discussion threads on FF since the disaster began.
There is no way anyone could put themselves in the shoes of the Japanese, we can only watch and listen to the sound of our own hearts breaking over the devastation.
 
Not to take away from what Buzz posted, but this video hit hard just thinking about the animals who also feel lost and alone.
