Seems lots of folks are preparing for 4th of July. We're getting pasta and potato salads ready to take to our daughter's home tomorrow, so I just thawed out a quart of Mama's Bacon Cheeseburger Soup (I didn't have any bacon thawed out for topping...bummer), and a few slices of buttered Italian bread. The house is nice and cool, so the soup really hit the spot. Thanks, again, Mama, for sharing this recipe with all of us.

You're welcome Joe! I haven't made that in a while..... I need to make some soon.

We are also eating light tonight as making the sides for tomorrow. So tonight we are finishing off the left overs. Tomorrow however we have ribs, macaroni salad, potato salad, baked beans, deviled eggs and two type of cole slaw made. All that needs to be done tomorrow is the ribs and beans.

Tina had this recipe she wanted to try with fettuccini and baby spinach and tomatoes.

I didn't like the recipe because the proportions of spices was way way off.

I moderated the recipe, and I cut the sauce bitters and spinach with a little milk in the finishing stages.

DW liked it. DD just dropped over from doing DW's shopping list, and she thought it was awesome. It surprised me too that it all blended together well.

It was no big deal, and it cooked up fast. Here is a photo of it.

Darn it!... I got to set the size of the pics back to medium. Oh Well!! My fault; because I didn't write myself a note. hahahahahaha
