yeah, baby! the week went by so quickly.
so, yinz got any food on the table for this day~

i have to wait & see. ttyinzl
 
I'm feeling guilty because I've not been cooking much so tonight I plan to make chicken breast browned and simmered in cream of chicken soup along with mashed potatoes, dressing, mustard greens, sliced tomatoes and rolls.
 
I was going to make some tuna salad and pack my lunch for work today.
Instead, think I'll go downtown and try one of the falafel pitas with cucumber sauce.
They serve it with sweet potato fries on the side.
Word on the street is it's crazy good.
 
I'd LOVE to see a picture of that! It sounds delicious!

DW brought a package of frozen Italian Plain sausage up from the freezer...and said,"I guess we can make something with this!"

Wow! ..."I Guess I could I said!" L O L

She went out this morning and picked up these Turkish Breads which would be great to slit open as pockets for filling with whatever I made... hahaha

I made nice Sausage / peppers / onions / and potatoes to fill those pockets with!

I filled a small one and splashed some yellow mustard on it...

DW was filling hers being careful everything was placed so she could bite it easily.

All in all....I naturally continued to eat more of the meal in a dish with the rest of that round of bread. It was Kick @$$ Good for a change.

We are going to have grilled hamburgers tonight. Sides may be baked beans, potato chips or whatever floats their boat. :bbq::bbq3:
 
Me and DW went to one of our favorite haunts that has reopened for dinner. She got a BLT, I got a Patty Melt, and we split an order of fries.

I would have much rather have been sitting at the table with Jimmy & Tina enjoying that great looking dinner. It's almost 11 pm and I'm hungry again just from looking at it. Nice job, Jimmy. That's one of my favorite meals.
 
Chef made roast turkey- i luved it & i am not so much a fan of turkey. a thickened cherry gastrique 4 that, w/ potato wedges & yesterday's leftovers made into a new cheese sauce 4 the potatoes. veggies. the gastrique made the turkey.

i just went & got beef jerky to snack on a few ago.

I even make the sandwiches with hot dogs sliced on the bias.

There is a cup left over...and Tomorrow I will make the leftovers with some scrambled eggs like a fritatta.

Ummm...Looks good luvs.

Where'd you get the neat dish with the spout handle. If I had one like that, I could eat my cereal with milk, and then use the spout to drain the milk in my mouth really easy without drippage on the sides.

hi, there, jimmy~
got 'em from the rack in the prep kitch'. we usually have the meals on 'em. they can be dishwasher-cleaned (thus avoiding slow sink-washing) so we can jump from breakfast to appointed areas 4 prepping lunch for those lunching in the restaurant.

Yummy pics Jimmy, yours too Aubrey ( I LOVE beef jerky, 'specially Jack Links teriyaki-- can eat the whole bag).

lollie, i just saw snack bags of jack links in the vending machine earlier. i went to the bars to get the kind i luv.
