ISO TNT Blue Cheese Dressing recipe

Thanks to Sushi, I have some spare, very good, blue cheese on hand. Anyone have a good TNT Blue Cheese dressing recipe?
I like mine thick and creamy like. I have one wedge, not sure how many oz that is but say maybe 4oz or so.

I have a quick and easy one that's pretty good!

1 cup blue cheese, chunked up
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayo
salt and pepper to taste
juice of 1/4 lemon

Blend together sour cream, mayo, salt, pepper and lemon juice. Gently add in blue cheese and refrigerate for an hour. Stir gently before serving.

Sounds good, thanks! I have sour cream, but no mayo just the miracle whip kind of salad dressing, think that will work or should I get some mayo?

I think I would use the mayo. Miracle Whip may make it too sweet. I normally use MW for most things but this is one of the times I do use mayo.

OT warning (lol)

My favorite blue cheese dressing is Ken's steak house chunky blue cheese. It's beats the Kraft's and Wishbone's hands down. Then I sprinkle/crumble blue cheese on top. That way you can really taste the cheese. (I'll also do that with Catalina dressing, too).
And if you have any leftover, Mav, make a blue cheese wing sauce. Take your favorite barbeque wing sauce, add crumbled blue cheese and a touch of creamy salad dress (to make it creamier), and stir. This is a great wing sauce for those that like to dunk their wings before eating. You've got the dip "built in".

Well if you're going to go with buying the dressing I would go with Marie's or Hartville Kitchens. They sell them in the refrigerator case here. They're in a fat jar that you have to spoon it out because it's so thick and creamy!

I mix sour cream and mayonnaise with two cloves of roasted garlic, fresly cracked black pepper and crumbled bleu cheese. The roasted garlic smoothes out the sharpness of the cheese.

I've tried Marie's, too. I like them better as a dip than a dressing.

Vera, with the roasted garlic, does that mean it would only be good for a few days? That sounds like a good dressing even without the cheese.
