Is the Toyota investigation a "witch hunt"?

Deadly Sushi

Formerly The Giant Mojito
A recent blog post raises some good questions.
as much as i want to get sucked in against toyota, i have a few thoughts. is this not just a smear campaign by politicians who have been bought by the big 3, and their labor unions against a foreign owned manufacturer that hires non-union american workers? not accusing anybody of anything, but something tells me that this has been done before in u.s. history.

I think it has a lot to do with the government owning GM and the fact that, like you say, they are non-union. If the government opens the door to lawsuits against Toyota, the company will have to raise the prices of their cars in order to pay for the lawsuits. GM will then be able to compete better. Just my opinion.....

Mama I agree with you 100%. I think you nailed.

I have a Camry..... love it. Although I wish it was quicker.
My dad has a 1992 Camry. He LOVES that car. He keeps saying its the best car he has ever had. He refuses to get rid of her.
