It is a really beautiful part of Mexico - high elevation (6500 ft) and cool and dry. The area is the birthplace of Mexican independence, and with their bicentennial coming up next year, there is alot of enthusiasm and pride evident everywhere. We loved it, and are thinking of spending part of the year (hot humid summers here) in San Miguel.
