IKEA

Any of you guys ever go into an IKEA?

I just did my first go around with the place. First off, I like the cheap eats. The layout of the show room kind of ticked me off a little. It was like hotel California, you can check out but you may never leave.

Funny thing about the place I saw a WHOLE LOT of arguments between couples. Some in hush tones one was real loud. Great place to go for an argument with hubby/wifey, or so it seems. ;)

I was in one in Chicago a few years ago (when my daughter and her family lived up there). I liked the store okay, I suppose. Not crazy about it. Maybe if I'd found the eats I'd have liked it better. I missed those. We were looking for ideas on a room we were redoing. Never found anything cheap enough or that we liked enough to drive the 3 hours from our house to the closest one to us. (Luvs land, Pittsburgh area).

I shop there on occasion. You either like their furniture or you don't. Some things seem cheaper than elsewhere, some don't. I do like their Swedish meatballs w/lingonberry jelly, and never fail to partake.

Everything is flat packed, so a houseful fits in a pickup. Their instructions are clear, and there are usually no surprises when assembling.

I've been there a couple of times. Not crazy about the style. I did pick up some cheap pot holders though . Never tried the food.
