I need them but am not sure what to buy. I see discounted glasses for $5 and I see glasses for $30.

Anyone? Help.

Thanks.

the 'designer' / name brand reading glass cost most - around here in the $20+ area and yup, go to Ace Hardware for $4.99 - my DW who has lost more glasses than have ever been made,,,, buys three/six packs at Walmart.

sometimes you stuck with real junk - they break, screws fall out, etc

never noticed a difference in lens 'quality' or whotnot...

I strongly recommend you get the cheap ones, and get a few pairs. You'll want one in the car, and the rest scattered around the house, if you are like me.
Also, when the break or get all scratched up, it's no biggie.
My wife used to be an optometrist's assistant, and she says there's not a big difference
in quality. You are paying for the name or the design factors.

rite-aid has racks of them, & u can see yourself in 'em. try pairs on until u find a pair that suits u. my Dad has readers. my Dad says says take a telly-phone book & use that as a judgement. test via that.
