how can i get rid of an

invite to a group. it's in my notifications, i have declined several times in msgs.
now a re-invite appeared & i cannot delete it.

If you have declined to attend, that should be sufficient. Ignore the notification if you don't know how to delete it. BTW, details of the message software/format are absent, making help somewhat difficult, if not impossible.
