How about a nice Tuna Steak in an Asian Marinade?

Very simple recipe. Very light and healthy. Excellent with a nice bottle of white on a warm summer evening. Here is the write up.

Sounds great. I don't usually have too much heat in the marinade because DW is a little sensitive. Also, I'm not sure I can find your ingredients up here in the middle of nowhere northern Wisconsin so I'll try a little twist on your recipe. We have around 7000 Hmongs (Cambodian refugees) here and they have their own food stores. I'll purchase some of their special goodies and see how it turns out. I do the tuna in a frying pan and unless the steak is very thick I give it 1 minute a side. Thanks for pushing me over the edge. DW can have pasta shells or something while I pig out on spicy tuna. :yum:

Wow, Grillin, that looks like PERFECTION!!!

I would take that over a steak cooked as nicely any day!

gotcha ...

You could go without the pan. I did for years. But I also wrecked some good fish filets and steaks by not using the pan. A couple of things you can do is make sure the grill is really clean and let the steak cook well to ensure a crust is there before trying to flip so it will flip without falling apart. Or just use the silly pans...
