[FONT=&quot]2 c mayonnaise
1/3 c sugar
4 Tbl white vinegar
3 Tbl prepared horseradish
1/2 tsp celery seed

Blend ingredients thoroughly and chill. Makes about 2 1/2 cups.
I Use about 1 cup of dressing for each 8 ounces of shredded cabbage [/FONT]

This could really put the zing in cole slaw. Another one I will be trying soon. I love horseradish. :D
 
It makes a tad more than you might need for a medium head........ of course my idea of what constitutes "too wet" may not be yours...........

I usually follow the "[FONT=&quot] 1 cup of dressing for each 8 ounces of shredded cabbage " guide, as we rarely shred a whole head of cabbage for slaw, as there ' s just the two of us, and the jarred dressing holds up much better than slaw-in-tupperware.................

I might also mention that I use a TBL more horseradish than the recipe calls for..........

All good reasoning Lucky. Especially the TBSP more horseradish.

I did not get any of my horseradish out before the ground froze, so, I will have to buy a piece for me to processs.

This is definately a doer. Since my diet, I can make a whole head and use t for snack food. I have to ponder on the 2C of Mayo though.
