Hoosier Stew

The Hoosier stew is a staple in Indiana, and it is mostly called that way by German descendants who settled there.

Fun fact, the people of Indiana are nicknamed Hoosiers and that is where this term emerged.

You might know this dish simply as a green bean, potato, and sausage stew. Essentially, the smoked sausage does all the flavoring, and the veggies add a healthy element to it.

You will love it if you need to prep a meal last minute or if you want a soothing hot soup bowl after a long day at work.

No it's not hot dogs.
I'm using these.
