I got these at the commissary which is usually cheaper than local stores.
You did and this would not be show quality. 🙄Bite-through skin is crispy - not chewy, tough or flabby, fat nicely rendered. When you take a bite of the chicken thigh, the skin ONLY of the bite comes off with the flesh, as opposed to the whole skin pulling off at once.

I did breast this evening and they were hit long with applewood smoke… tasted great although they look burned.

No, i left them on the fire too long and they got a bit charred. I put sauce on at the table like steak sauce.Did you sauce them then put them on the fire?
