Utilizing ready made (or nearly so) ingredients with fresh things is a wonderful and easy way to serve a cool meal in warm weather.

1 box of Suddenly Salad Bacon Ranch Salad made to package directions.
Chop veggies of choice - I used green bell pepper, cuccumber, green onions, plum tomatoes and chopped cheddar cheese along with cotto salami and turkey bologna and stirred these things into the pasta salad, added the prepared dressing and salt and pepper to taste. You could also include florets of either broccoli or cauliflower to the mix or any other ingredients of choice you may like. Celery for crunch is good, too. The more goodies you add, the better the result. Chill salad for at least two hours before serving. Garnish with paprika and sliced or quartered boiled egg and serve with hot muffins and fruit or chilled dessert. Yummy. :fridge:

This sounds delicious Ian! The possibilities are endless on this one. I think I'm gonna pick up a box of this next time I'm at the store and try it with ham, cheddar, broccoli, cucumbers, tomatoes and onions!

You know, it occured to me that this salad might be a good place for Breezy to chop up and dispose of her excess of hot dogs, too. :chef:
