Fried Chicken Livers

1 lb. chicken livers
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1 beaten egg
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
Creole Seasoning

Mix milk and egg; set aside. Mix flour, baking powder and salt in separate bowl.
Add seasoning (McCormick’s Creole Seasoning) to flour
mixture, to taste. Soak liver in milk and egg. Drain. Roll in flour
mixture. Fry in hot oil.
 
I love fried chicken livers, Lucky! In fact, I think I like better cold than hot. But then, I'm a little weird. :bounce:
 
I love 'em too. But I don't go to all that bother. When I want 'em, I want 'em now.
Just put them in a pan with butter, salt & pepper. Gone!
And I think it's the only time the dog comes and sits by me at the stove.
 
I do not like liver, now, hearts, I love, so, I can use the same on the hearts! husband like gizzards. Thanks LT
