I'm making an easy dinner tonight. French Dip Tortilla Roll Ups and salad. I'll likely use some Johnny's for the "dip".

Me too! Those look terrific! My father would have loved them (huge French dip fan, but didn't like all the bread).
Printed out to make. https://www.tasteandtellblog.com/wprm_print/french-dip-tortilla-roll-ups

I got all the ingredients to make these too, but I couldn't find the beef consomme, so I got a can of Swanson beef broth.
Campbell's used to have consomme![]()
What else is in the salad? I make one that has a sherry vinegarette. It has roasted beets with goat cheese and slices of oranges with a good sprinkling of freshly cracked pepper on it. One of my favorites, but the fella won't touch beets....or goat cheese.Well, I think I would like these better if I either at least doubled the amount of roast beef and cheese in those large tortillas, or used smaller tortillas.
But I think the concept is a great one to play around with.
Served with a beet and goat cheese salad.

I made these earlier.
Had one for lunch, will have another for dinner.
I used burrito size tortillas and stuffed them- rolled tight- with 3 pieces of torn provolone and 3 slices of Kretschmar deli roast beef.
Here's the crazy part--
I got them nice and rolled up, then realized I'd forgot to add the crispy fried onions
Unrolled them and added them.
I love these!
The dip was great
