My wife made this French Almond Cake today using blanched almond flour and xylitol for sweetener. The cool whip was sugar free, as well. It was all very good.
She made cookies with it once and each bite you would get this cool sensation in your mouth like you were smoking a menthol cigarette. We didn’t like it. There was none of that with the cake.I use this. I buy Ideal Sweetener from Amazon. It tastes much better than other sugar subs, and you can use it cup for cup as sugar without having to change any other measurements like when you use Splenda.
